I lived in San Diego for around 8 years, both during and after college. Where are you from? I grew up in Orange County, California. How did you get involved with WRISE? I am fortunate to have had mentors and colleagues at Kimley-Horn who were already heavily involved in WRISE committees when I relocated to Chicago.ĭo you have any hobbies? Other interests? I love to travel and try new restaurants and cuisines! My goal is to learn as much as I can and foster collaboration and collective growth within the industry and to inspire the younger generations to become passionate about renewable energy. There is always something new to learn from our partners around the industry. What are your personal objectives in the industry? The renewables industry is very collaborative and rapidly growing. I have always been passionate in helping create long-term sustainable solutions to minimize adverse impacts on the environment. California has always been a leader in the push for environmental sustainability, which has inspired me from a young age. How did you get interested in sustainability? Growing up in Southern California, I have experienced extreme droughts, worsening fire seasons, ocean pollution, air pollution, etc., which has always inspired me to look for ways to minimize my own footprint. ![]() Our team of civil and environmental engineers, as well as landscape architects can provide a one-stop shop for both solar developers and EPCs needing permitting and design support. I am currently a project manager at Kimley-Horn and Associates supporting solar development around the country.
